Corrections

A public log for factual errors: how to report one, what we check it against, and what changed.

If a page, a data file or a number is wrong, report it. We check it against the source named on that page, fix it if it is wrong, and log the change here. If it is not wrong, we reply with the evidence instead. There is no penalty for reporting and no requirement to be a customer.

How to report

  1. Use the contact form with topic=correction. The query string is kept so the request is filed as a correction.
  2. Include the page URL, the sentence or value you believe is wrong, and the source that shows the correct value. A link is enough; a screenshot is not required.
  3. We reply within one business day. Accepted corrections are published here with the date, the page, what was wrong, what it says now and the evidence.

For a data correction, name the file: the pilot CSV is ai-visibility-variance-pilot-2026-11-01.csv, and methodology explains how its numbers are computed.

No corrections yet — no correction has been accepted since this log started on 2026-11-02.

“No corrections yet” is a statement about this log, not a claim that the site is perfect. The limitations on methodology and the research page are the known gaps; anything else that is wrong belongs in the table above.

What happens after a correction

We change the page and, when the page is generated from a data file, the file too. The entry keeps the original date and links the evidence so a reader can see what moved. We do not silently rewrite a page and leave the old date in the footer.
